On Goo-Net-Exchange they are sitting at 500,000yen(5,757cad)-700,000yen($9,200cad). Now to find a LHD example with the 1.3L engine, RHD insurance where I live is very expensive.

you can’t look on Goo Net for that sort of thing. If you want the 1.3, you’ll have to look at Europe.

I REALLY like the Copen! I’d settle for a 660cc model as well, but LHD cars are only in Europe with the 1.3L...

The Gov’t see’s as a safety hazard, since we drive on right side of the rd. You can’t see as well to pass. There also a couple of companies that will insure, but only if you have a spotless driving record. The companies that will are classified specialized insurance. The complex world of auto insurance.

That’s crazy.
But then again we have LHD and RHD all over the U.K. and Europe.
Some countries, like Poland, won’t let you register a RHD car but they are few and far between.

Ontario has the highest avg insurance rate in North America. It does not help that I live a decently close to Toronto, & I’m a male under 25.

A lot of the problem in Canada is that RHD cars have gotten a terrible reputation due to kids importing Skylines and crashing them.
As I understand, the actual risk isn’t RHD, the actual risk is young people in Skylines. But, the insurance companies there see that the vast majority of RHD cars are Skylines that get crashed, it seems.
