Penske will enter the ARX-05 in the 2018 season of the Weathertech Sportscar Championship from Daytona on in January.
They will get their feet wet in the season though with Petit Le Mans in October by racing a stock WEC LMP2-spec ORECA 07 powered by a Gibson V8 engine to get their Acura staff up and running in competition before the ARX-05's debut at Daytona in January.

I dig it. Almost looks like it could be a Corvette too, and certainly not beautiful, but I’ll call it pleasantly functional. Love the wheels. Hope they get up to speed quickly.
