I asked Bannon about the connection between his program of economic nationalism and the ugly white nationalism epitomized by the racist violence in Charlottesville and Trump’s reluctance to condemn it. Bannon, after all, was the architect of the strategy of using Breitbart to heat up white nationalism and then rely on the radical right as Trump’s base.

Well.....due to schedule conflicts and not wanting to distract people from their work, they disbanded one of the rings. But these two rings are the BEST two rings in the world. ANd I know rings. Trust me on this one. I know a bad ring when I see it and that was a terrible ring. SHouldn’t have happened. People might say it’s because the people responsible for that ring left. That is FAKE NEWS! The only three rings we need are the nuclear triad which we will use to bring FURY down on my enemies if they keep crossing me. It really does make me wonder how much responsibility an elected president, or really any official for that matter, truly has to acting on the message or proposed administration they were elected on. There’s no legal restriction: presumably someone could become elected by saying all the right things and then do the exact opposite once they’re in office.
It’s hard to keep track of the revolving door at the entrance to the oval office, but how can the president stay on track with his campaign strategy when he fires his chief strategist?

I don’t know. What scares me is Pence’s overly religious based biases against women and homosexuals. As a jew with gay family members I think a Pence presidency scares me more on a personal basis than a continued Trump presidency.
I do think Trump being out of the office would be good, but I probably wouldn’t start partying on day 1 of President Pence’s term either...
