Apparently Tire Rack sent me a full set of Porsche 911 Koni yellows and H&R springs. And with their complete lack of customer feedback over the past couple months I don’t feel like they’ll be the ones to resolve this. There likely was a very confused 911 owner this summer.

Any 911 owners (there’s a couple on here iirc) interested? I can get part numbers if so.

Wait so you got a full set of Koni Yellows and H&R Springs for free or did they just totally botch your order

They botched it and never bothered trying to make it right. I’ll definitely avoid ordering from tirerack again. The whole point of buying a kit from a big name retailer was simplicity.

So you paid for a kit and got a different one. That’s unfortunate. I’d sell that kit and just recoup some money

I was hoping so, it retails ($1200ish from a glance) for more than I paid($700) but I know it won’t resale for that, even unused.

That’s the plan. Seeing if anyone on here wants the first crack.

That’s weird, I’ve always had good luck with Tire Rack. When I got my summer wheels and tires from them, I thought they needed to be rebalanced. Tire Rack reimbursed me for the cost of having them rebalanced at my local Discount Tire, and I even got the lifetime balancing deal at Discount Tire. This later turned out to be a driveline vibration and not a wheel problem but hey, free lifetime balancing.

Also the wheels have crappy flimsy flimsy little 72.56 mm to 74 mm hubcentric rings that keep cracking and Tire Rack has sent me free replacements twice now. The reviews on Amazon complain that these particular Gorilla hub centric rings are flimsy. I just ordered some aluminum ones. Yay.
