Guy at work got creamed in almost same type of accident. Stupid phones.

I use a G1W-CB. It’s not problem-free but for $50 it’s a fairly good value imo.

Lets say traffic was moving at a speed this morning on the highway, 3 lanes wide. I came up very quickly to a car moving 20 mph less than the speed. I change lanes and pass and she is face deep in a smart phone. I wanted to beep and flip her off but I was already 100' ahead.

My wife was rear-ended a couple of years ago. They got both cars to the shoulder, then my wife called me. I went to to the crash site and waited with her. The girl who rear-ended her called her parents who called her uncle who was an off-duty deputy for the next parish.
While we waited, two more wrecks happened right there, both caused by people gawking at the crashed cars on the shoulder. By the time everything was settled and we could leave, there were seven cars wrecked, three police cars, and four officers on the scene.
