I was reunited with my old 944 tonight after the 931 swap over 3 months ago. The current owner has refreshed the suspension, and swapped in a replacement motor. Even though it drove better than when I owned it, I hadn’t forgotten how to drive it and everything felt familiar. It still felt like it was mine...
It hurt to give the keys back, again. 931, I believe you won’t disappoint me and prove to me that the potential I saw in you rings true one day!

havent seen you round here lately. then again, i havent been here much lately either. your blue mustang is beautiful, and likely a better option for you at this point in your life. im running around like a madman trying to keep at least one of three old complicated and expensive cars mobile so i can keep my other life responsibilities met. (but i’m likely 15+ years older than you and have some disposable income to waste on these things. it does keep a smile on my face though.)
remember this... you can always buy another 944 later on, even that one. i had to have a good friend tell me that over and over again when i sold my jaguar.

I only have automotive loves. I’ve never been fortunate to have a lady friend. My cars are all I have to myself and to share with those that I care about. I’ve had more experiences with cars than girls that I reckon a normal 22-year old would have.
I’m also trying to keep a 911 in some shape and get a 931 in order but I have to remind myself there isn’t a rush...unless NK vs. the World (WWIII) happens...

some part of me is saying that is for the better. one day you’ll run into that someone else who’ll match your love of stuttgart and transaxles.

Well, at least you know your 944 is in good hands. My old Mach 1 just sold a week or so ago and I’m terrified. Some kid probably bought it and is severely abusing it. Or doing mods that I would most definitely never approve of. Or both. Ugh. After all the hard work and money I put in it... I know I shouldn’t care but I’m still sad about losing that car.
