We got a ton of rain here in Madison yesterday, and the sky this morning isn’t looking very inviting. Perfect time to park your targa top car outside your office, without its top! As far as I know, the Elise doesn’t have a hose-off-able interior like a Honda Element or Toyota FJ Cruiser.

UPDATE: It did, in fact, rain. But don’t worry everyone! The Elise’s owner put the top on.
The owner of this diesel Ram 2500 Mega Cab decided to park near the Elise. This is way at the back of the parking lot so I can only assume they chose this spot near the Elise for a laugh.

Every time I see an Elise, I think “I could dd that.” Then every time I drive one I’m like, “nope”. Maybe now that I have the ranger as a backup.

they are so devoid of interior it is fairly moot.
although, they are british, so possible that rain = wet = electrical failure

Even this one is quite customized. The floormats, side panels, and parking brake are all aftermarket (and done well, love the stitching). The center plastic thing and AC shroud is also painted.
One neat trick is to unscrew that screw on the right of the plastic thing in the middle, put a bicycle water bottle holder there and Lotus cupholder!
