I went home for lunch today to get the Ranger and meet my HVAC guy. As I got on the highway I noticed a very quiet cruiser looking motorcycle in the left lane kinda weeble wobblin’ around. I gave him some space as I always do with motos, then he started going really slow. I was thinking maybe there was something wrong with his bike, so I threw my 4-ways on in case he needed to get to the right. Eventually he sped back up again and changed to the middle lane right in front of a car! He slowed again and as I passed him I noticed that he was texting or otherwise dicking around with his phone!!! Why dude, fucking why!
On a more positive note, look what I saw on the way back!

haha it wasn’t even a squid, I just grabbed that picture from the googles. I noticed the bike originally because it was a cruiser with a big rear tire, but it was nearly silent! I thought “yo bro, gotta put a pipe on that thing before ya get run over!” Then I saw him texting...

I once saw a total jersey shore looking guy riding a chopper with no protective gear outside of sunglasses, a girl in a bikini and a miniskirt on the back, and he was texting while riding. humble pothole nearly ended me (whilst wearing full gear and not on my phone...) knew the pothole was there too.. but you know.. daily road home not paying as much attention as i should have been and going too fast.. hit it mid turn and bounced me clean off the road.. my bandit hit every tree next to the road i somehow sailed clean through em and only broke my collarbone upon landing

I guess i’m in the minority of people who see this stuff and is impressed.
These guys have higher tolerances for risk and more balls than me and you. I for one respect that. I do shit that beige-people think is risky too. It’s all relative.
Just as there may be skilled riders that can do wheelies and ride on their backs on the road, there are also people who think stepping out their front door is a “risk”.

What? The pic of the guy on the bike is just from the internet and I will agree that it’s mildly impressive. The guy I saw was just bent over looking at his phone and swerving all over the place. Either way I don’t scoff at motorcycle stuns on the road, I think they’re cool. Still the one from my pic isn’t even that cool

Dude, I rode into an open manhole on my bicycle once (on the sidewalk*). I don’t know how I didn’t see it- probably talking to my riding buddy. Luckily my 700C tire didn’t dive all the way in, and remarkably didn’t even flat.
But yes, in normal circumstances, and going highway speeds, that’s crazy.
*I prefer the road but people liked to murder cyclists around there
