Seeing that old plate reminded me of “old plate usage”. After seeing a bunch of old Colorado plates for sale at flea markets, I looked up the law here. You can use old plates on your classic car, but only for photo ops and driving to/from events. I’m going to pick up some old ‘67 plates for the Cougar. Having the year stamped into the plate is cool.
Oh yeah, and 2nd gen Broncos are cool. To be honest, there isn’t a gen of full size Bronco that I don’t like.

I learned to drive a stick shift on a Bronco similar to this - 2 tone 1979 Dark Red/White XLT Ranger with the 400/4 speed. It was a beast.
Like this, but with factory-style white fender flares, white wagon wheels, 31" Dick Cepek tires, and rusty quarter panels:

Typically I’m not that excited for this generation of Bronco. I’d prefer a Plymouth Trailduster or Dodge Ramcharher because the removable roof extends over the front seats. That stripe package really does son for me. I really like the goofy decal sets that some cars used to get.

Dad had a ‘79, which this one is as well. Obviously from the plate, but that was the only year with this body style and square headlights.

Funny that it’s an orange truck but has a Carolina sticker on the back. I’ve typically found that Carolina fans avoid orange like the plague.
