Man, this made me really depressed. Bad way to start the day.
On the plus side, I have a beautiful 3 hour drive to Santa Maria, land of wine and strawberries, where I teach wage and hour and grower relations to farm labor contractors. I would love to take the Sunchaser, but I have to make phone calls from the car.
I will NOT be listening to the news. CNN, Fox, MSNBC and all the rest can fuck right off. I have had it with this shit. If you see me on the highway, I will be singing with the radio and ignoring the parade of assholes that seem to have taken over all political discourse in this country. Everyone can shut the fuck up now, me included. This shit is out of hand.

I’ve been in some pretty bad situations and have been wronged by people and in the most extreme examples I’ve been able to share these sentiments, it’s truly amazing when you can truly forgive a person, and for me its counterintuitive because the worse the wrong, the easier it has been to forgive. It doesn’t take away the hurt, but it keeps that from eating at you.
I don’t understand the hate these alt right groups spew. It just seems like they all need to get a different hobby or something. It must be a pretty shitty way to live. I just don’t get it.

What blame? Agreed, as a whole, I believe he is forgiving the driver alone in this instance, at least that’s how I understand it. I just can’t fathom hating people just because as the alt right does. And how sad an existence a person would have, to carry that around with them all the time. I’ve had some bad times where I was hateful of a person for a specific situation and it really eats at you, it’s not good at all. I don’t have too many of those moments anymore and it’s a much better place to be. I can only change how I react to things, and hate for hate doesn’t end well for anybody. Shaming these individuals should be somewhat effective and maybe the fringe hangers on will see that this type of hatred is not all these groups make it out to be. Life’s too short to be pissing all over each other, we’re all just trying to make our own way in this world. Imagine if these assholes would turn their energies toward some other purpose that actually would benefit society. Maybe someday.

My father, three uncles and countless others are rolling over in their graves from what happened this weekend. Context is a hell of a thing. Im not generalizing any one in my statement, rather I expressed clearly im talking about the fringe aspects of the left and right. The sentence prior outlined it clearly.
The left as a whole could be generalized as you simply outlined. But when you look deeper into the fringe elements you move into much darker country. The desire for violence, suppression of freedoms, equally shitty veiws on race and gender. The left fringe equally mirrors the right in its awfulness.

No problem, I figured that. Even though there is a shout out on The Root that whites can’t comment on whats going on I can’t stay silent. Its going to take more than an outcry by one race to change things. You need to know there are other people and have a feeling of solidarity. Its only by the actions of many that things can shift. I’m hoping more people in the GOP will see past party lines and do whats best for the country. Twitter calling out the culprits has been awesome. When more of these idiots have families and jobs turn on them maybe they will take the hint that the majority of the US won’t stand for this bullshit.
