When you see your cars identical twin driving down the road?
My truck was twinning with this one at a stop light. I think we might have traded thumbs up, but we both have illegal tint so neither one of us could tell.

I had a guy in a space grey E90 328i wave at me the other day, that was kinda cool.
I normally try and wave at fellow M3 drivers.

Literally every other 2012+ Passat is Reflex Silver with the 17" Sonoma wheels.
If we’re going to be specific, most 2015 Passat Limited drivers are too busy not knowing how to drive well to notice another identical one next to them at a light.
I honestly dislike the Passat to the point where I don’t even bother taking pictures next to identical ones.

S3: Blank stare at each others car as we pass, I think to myself “hah, I definitely got the best color.”
Ranger: Solid truck nod, maybe even a wave.
Forester: A wave that says “hello fellow human, I also like adventures.”
Grom: (or any other unique motorcycle) An enthusiastic wave that says “cool bike bro, let’s try to not get killed out here!” Maybe we even ride together for a little.
M3: I purposely look the opposite direction, my body language range is: “fuck off - eat a plate of dicks - don’t go near my car you fucking tool”

Haha, I expected more friendliness with the S3. You did get the best color though.
Man, I don’t really get truck nods or waves. If I see a modified Tacoma, I’ll give or get a peace sign from the top of the wheel. Have played around in traffic with another one though lol.

I see a lot of them (S3s that is), and it’s a weird demographic. Lots of old dudes, lots of cute girls, a few stancenation heads. There are 3 I see everyday without fail on the way to work, a white one, a black one with “knock off” wheels, and another blue one. The blue guy and I will point at each other out the window on nice days haha.
I never initiate the nods/waves with other rangers, but I will reciprocate. I think mine gets a lot of attention because it’s old and in really nice shape. Most of the ones I see are beat, or obviously fleet vehicles. Dudes ask if it’s for sale at home depot all the time haha.

Mazda3's seem to be driven by people who really couldn’t care less that they’re in a Mazda3 or that someone else on the same street is driving one too. Never been acknowledged by another 3 driver ever.
With the Miata, I’ll get eyed by older men but they never wave (same reaction from old men in other convertibles, too). Older women all ignore me. Other young men always wave, throw a peace sign, or make some other gesture of camaraderie. Never see young women driving them though.

I honestly don’t see a ton of my car around. I see either the facelifted 525i/530i or the pre-facelift 540i. Not a whole lot of 528is, and even fewer with the same optional Xenons and 16 inch wheels.

First I try to check out the driver and see if they are worthy. After judging them by looks alone I try to see if it’s an auto or manual. Finally I like to get a better look at the condition of the car, like do they have nice tires or is there any rust. Finally if able to I get a photo.

2nd gen Toyota Solara’s are all driven by oblivious women over 50 with the exception of one 40 something dude in town, who has a Solara exactly like mine. We always wave or nod to each other.

I only ever got one wave from a fellow D2 driver, and it was a different color and with different wheels than mine.
100-Series is so common in my area that even seeing an identically-spec’d LX470 is not that unusual, and they’re not often driven by enthusiasts per se.
I have never passed another Spider identical to mine, believe it or not, but I exchange waves and often honks with every other Alfa Romeo (that isn’t a new Guilia) that I pass.
