I was tired of sitting around doing nothing at home, so.... I went to a few beautiful, hard-to-reach places and sat around doing nothing!
I channeled my inner engineer and set this up with gymnastics straps, bungee cords, and an inflatable sleeping pad for added nap-ability.
The area is absolutely beautiful. No people nearby. Just me. The waves. And mountains covered in carpets of greenery
After a good nap, I packed up and moved on to a new spot, fifty miles away. Stacked some rocks, learned a bit about patience
This place is high on my list for potential campsites. A sign posted on a random tree said it was being saved as a potential site for a state park in the future

That is amazing. Otherwise, I’m speechless at the awesomeness.

Are those berries edible?
If so, did you eat any?

Look like wild blackberries. If so, very edible and delicious

Not just edible, but they make good wine as well.

What were the logistics behind getting the hammock in that position, and getting in it? Did you stand in the water, a boat, use a jet pack, etc?

Swam to the furthest stump, climbed it, threw the rope around it and adjusted it to close to what I thought I’d need lengthwise. Hooked the hammock up at that end, then swam to the closest stump and did the same. It was super taut, so I used bungee cords for another 2 feet of slack. Getting in... Was tricky
