Had a customer order some leather for his 16 Camry Hybrid. He really liked his friend’s Sequoia with the Red Rock interior:
but he was concerned about how it would look with all the gray inside the Camry Sedan. So he ordered a two-tone.
I have to say, it looks surprisingly good.
As with all CST installation, the leather will tighten up over the next few weeks and those wrinkles will fall out.

I love the red rock interior. It was really sharp.
When the new Tundra design first came out, I was put in charge of getting “demo” units for the management team (so that we could sell them certified used with APR spiffs with 4000 miles on them in 4-6 months) and I ordered a double cab in pearl White with the red rock interior and put the polished (NOT CHROME!) TRD 20" on it and a pearl white tonneau from a local body shop that would sit flush against the bed rails.
I also ordered a Black sport package with black 18s and a black interior and a silver with gray everything and 20s as well.
The managers came in to the meeting where I announced the new demos to earmark them and ask if they wanted any specific accessory (we ordered Tow, Nav and roof only apart from appearance options.)
The black went first followed by the silver truck, and the Service Manager got “stuck” with the white one. He was upset. Like legit upset that he was getting a “Weird truck”
When it arrived, the GM threw a hissy fit wanting out of his black one to get the white one. The Service Manager put up a little bit of a fight, but knew his place and took the black one instead.
The White one sold before finishing demo-fleet work, we actually parked it in a vacant bay for 3 weeks waiting for the terms with Toyota to complete so we could sell it at the full Demo discount.

Do you have a picture of how it looks like in the car?
I agree with the customer, a one-color design would have been wrong. If there weren’t grey plastic parts on the seats, it could work.

Second one, really. The leather has to be cut slightly larger than the cloth and once it heats up, it starts to tighten.

you could do two-tone for $50 more...

Thanks.. my lease ends late next year though but I’ll keep this in mind even though Charlotte is a bit of a ways from me (NY)
