Since I have a dash cam, I don’t have to resort to diagrams drawn onto Google maps with little boxes and arrows, or vivid retellings. I can just post a video, and you can see these two, who get first and second place for “morons of the month”.

No video, but I witnessed a Highlander with a, “Vietnam Vet,” sticker merge onto a highway without looking...right as a semi was coming at full speed.
It’s amazing that the semi managed to slow down in time.

Unfortunately no video, but a few weeks ago someone failed to yield (sign posted) onto a freeway ramp. I locked up all four tires and slid several car lengths sideways to avoid a collision. Not even sure if the other driver was aware of the situation.

It does, and it was activated. I was surprised that I could lock all four tires on dry pavement at 50mph.

No video, I really need to decide what dash cam I’m getting, but there was a good one on the way to work yesterday. A third of my commute is on a two lane road with bike lanes on either side, followed by a large amount of dead space, followed by parking. I was behind a couple cars stuck behind a lost semi going about 45 km/h. As my right turn got closer, I put on my signal and pulled into the empty bike lane/dead space/parking and coasted towards the turn. The Kia Rio that was in front of me braked hard, and turned hard right in front of me, aiming for the same turn. I laid on the horn and likewise braked hard, and managed to not hit them, despite the fact that their reaction was to stop directly in my path. Once they started moving again, they wouldn’t go any faster than 20km/h, so I passed them. I really don’t understand what’s so hard about shoulder checking, or at least using mirrors.
That reminds me, I saw someone on Friday driving with both mirrors folded in.

Oh man, I managed to get both mirrors folded in somehow and couldn’t figure out how to unfold them while I was driving. It was unnerving to say the least. I pulled over as soon as I safely could and pulled out the owners manual and google until I could figure it out.

Came around a blind corner to see an outback completely in my Lane doing 45-ish. Locker up the wheels for a few feet(I was doing maybe 20-25 so the speed scrubbed off quick) then they veered back into their Lane at the last 20 feet in oder to make the corner.

I encountered a CRV driver (obviously) who backed out of her driveway, then pulled forward into the driveway immediately opposite hers. Absolutely no idea what she was trying to accomplish.

yea idiots going way under the speed limit when there is no traffic or bad weather. Luckily my truck exhaust dumps out the passenger side so they hear the spool of my powerstroke as i pass them

Waiting to turn left at a red light and an Accord comes flying around me through the left.
Somebody with a shitty new Hyundai Sonata who tried to floor it out of a light when it was raining and literally spun the tires and slid all over the place for a good 10 seconds while I watched from my car.

You stay remarkably calm with all of these idiots. I take the audio out of my videos because I’m usually yelling things that the other drivers might take offense to. Even when people aren’t in my way, or causing a problem for me, like many of your clips, I am still commenting out loud how stupid they are.

I feel your pain. I was on the way to work the other night and as the lights turned to green, a car in the next lane and a bit in front of me, slowed and then stopped. STOPPED on a GREEN. What an idiot.
