help!

we’re running out of time. My brother-in-law’s 2003 Camry needs to pass emissions by the end of the month but there is things.... what do you think the issue is?

1. Replaced gas cap - codes returned
2. Cleaned/Greased filler neck - codes returned
3. Replaced charcoal canister (came with pressure sensor/vent valve) - codes returned
4. Tested vent valve under hood - valve clicks

last weekend we replaced the canister and since then the gas cap has been pulling a vacuum to the point that the gas cap is wet when removed.

In WA, if you cannot pass emissions, you can obtain a waiver by proving you spent at least $150.00 at a certified shop to attempt to fix the problem.

I suggest he just takes it to a shop.

How are you clearing the codes? In my old volvo the only sure fire way to reset everything was to unhook the battery cables and then zip tie them together (after unhooked) for a bit to get all the current out of the system. Just a thought.

Torque will also clear the codes. I’m sure you know this. Good Luck #nohelp

There was a diagram of a manual that says to blow on the lines (posted to Oppo….....)

Surely you know someone that blows robot dick (vape) and can blow that into the vacuum hose and find the leak instead of making “O’s” and table tornadoes.
