If it was on she’d only do that once.....
Years ago I used a roll of solder as my iron holder (terrible idea in hindsight, but at 14 you don’t think like that) and grabbed about the spot she’s holding it. Needless to say that iron was thrown away and a new one with a real, purpose-built stand became my go-to iron.

I grabbed a soldering iron like that once. When I felt my fingers melting I looked at my hand to see what was up. That was a fun day. Memorable.

This photo is so stupid! Everytime I see it I am more confounded and angry. Comfy ergonomic plastic handle and grippy section nah i will grab the burned brown steel part. I bet when she tig welds she just holds the tungsten in her mouth.
