Because we have one 5 gallon bucket for washing and there’s not a single car at this house with paint good enough to warrant the 2 bucket method. I tried it once and didn’t see a noticeable difference so I never have done it again.

Dirt in rinse bucket after a two bucket wash, this is also after a snow foam prewash and rinse.
Shampoo wash bucket.
Rinse bucket
Using one bucket increases the amount of dirt you re-introduce back to the vehicle. Baring in mind most swirls and micomarring are inflicted whilst washing the car rather than any other way.
But at the end of the day it’s your car and each to their own. I’m not saying your way is the wrong way and mine is the right way. Merely pointing out another way.

Some might say mine is overkill as I’ve a grit guard in each bucket, but you can now get grit guards that come up at an angle (to go with your existing grit guard) so you can clean the mitt against it without having to put your other hand it to rub it.
Goodness knows what it’ll be like in a few years time.

I’d buy one as a kinda fun gas-mizer. It took what was good about the OG Focus (platform) and fixed what I personally didn’t like (interior)

I honestly think they look really good. Haven’t heard much good from people who have owned them though. They were offered with a really clean 15 spoke wheel design which I always wonder about getting for my car.
