Is it a Silverado? Apparently a semi-truck rearended this one which went right through this ‘small truck’ and hit another semi-truck and hit another semi-truck. RIP to the occupants but I’m curious as to which truck this is and how it could have crumpled?

Based on wheels alone it’s a 2016 Silverado. Kind of freaky to think this happened in a brand new, big, safe pick up truck. The kind of vehicle people buy because “small cars aren’t safe”

The wheels are off a newer one, the tockerpanels have the same look too.And you can kind of make out that square shape in the rear fender.

Nothing is safe when two (or more) 80,000lb semis pancake. This is a situation I actively avoid when traveling. Never get between two semis. The physics is against you.
