Third time in the last month I’ve made plans with, and most likely been abandoned by a potential date without any word on her part.
I reached out to no avail, but hey I did everything I could to the best of my ability and that’s all that should matter; even though I find myself fighting to accept that once in awhile.
Even it hurts or sucks to be dropped without a word. Sometimes I think hope is nothing more than positive assumptions, but I will continue to believe in hope. I’m still alive and have my cars and I’m happy with that.

Try putting less effort. Sounds counter intuitive but making yourself toooo available is a major turn off for most women. I know this sounds cliché but you’ll have to trust me.

Ghosting sucks, on either end of the stick.
As a guy I was ghosted by pretty much everyone, even people I saw every day. For those people, they’d say some stuff like “oh my phone was off”. Ah, how convenient that you have your phone on all the time, but at the time of your date you just so happened to break your screen or decide to turn it off. Riiiiight.
As a girl, either you get ghosted or you get constantly begged for sex. Oh and don’t you dare say no to that sex lest you desire getting threats of violence towards you or called a bitch.
I hate dating..
Keep your head up K-Roll! <3 You’ll find the right one! And when you do you’ll be swept off your feet. You just have to wade through the garbage ones first.

I had to be clean shaven at my old job, as a result when I lost that job I quit shaving. I grew out my facial hair for a month, I called it the unemployment beard. It didn’t look that great. I don’t look good with facial hair.
That said I have thought about growing a terrible beard to show I no longer give a fuck. I hate my job, I can’t find anyone, etc.

Yup, mainly cause my boss is a fucking idiot. I had a follow up meeting with the VP of manufacturing last week about my plants performance. I sent the spread sheet to my boss before the meeting and he was like this isn’t what the VP wants at all. So I made another sheet, but kept that one. So I went to the meeting and presented both of them, yeah the first one I had done was basically exactly what he was looking for.
There are some other examples. I’ve talked to other people that have worked for him before and basically everyone has had the same experience, so it’s good to know it’s not just me.

Not yet, I’m going to try and stay there at least a year. I might start searching again soon. My previous job never called again, but then oil prices have been all over the place recently. If they do call again, unlike before where it would be an immediate no, it’ll be a coin flip.

I once got ghosted on by a girl because I think she set up two dates at the same time. Or she wanted us both to realize she wasn’t interested anymore at the same time. Turns out we were both car guys and had seen each other at meets. we ended up having a beer, some wings, and watching the Lions game.
...On further reflection it is possible she tried to set us up with each other...Doesn’t matter, had wings and beer.

I never once had a date with my missus, and we’re still together after homelessness, debt, and now we’re in the most expensive part of the south west (UK) with a couple of nice cars and a dog and a nice house...
Nothing was ever planned, sounds cliché but sometimes you don’t have to look or try it all just happens.
Although it sucks now, a month a year or even 10 down the line you’ll realise it was for the best.

What I meant was you can be hard on yourself but you can’t be so hard you make yourself depressed. You have to step back at times and look at the positives and be like yeah I’m doing alright.
Like I focus on what I don’t have, not the good things in my life.

My life is still far from Brady bunch perfect, but it worked out along the way.
All I was trying to say is take your time, don’t stress about one girl ghosting you. Much better she does it now than when you fall in love.
But I know you fill find someone, and the love will be mutual. As a country guy I look at courtship like hunting, some guys like to track and go after the prey. Others play the time game and wait for the prey to come to them.
Probably a slightly creepy analogy, but I hope you understand what I mean.
