Mostly sparked by MotorWeek posting a retro review of a 300ZX Turbo.

It’s just so... Sleek. One of the best designs to come out of the time period imo.
I honestly don’t know much about them except they look good, have a 3.0L V6 of either natural aspiration or turbo, and are a pain to work on when in turbo guise. Plus T-tops, oh yes.

The short wheelbase version always looks better to my eyes.

What about a Z32 owned by a member of the Mid Night Club that supposedly had the engine from Nissan’s 300ZX salt flat racer swapped in?

If I recall the turbo only came as a two seater with the shorter wheelbase, the NA version was available as the larger 4 seater

I agree, I didn’t even realize the one I posted was a 2+2.

Yup, that’s how they came stateside. Japan got a TT 2+2 though and they’ve been popping up around here in Seattle the last couple of years now that they’re old enough.

Love these cars. Have owned two. Would do it again. I agree, real clean design. Makes the Supra look like shit imo, not to mention the 3000gts and whatnot of the era.
