Kinja'd!!!

Would have liked to drive it but I have an early flight tomorrow and driving a drunk guy around can only be fun for so long no matter the car...

Somewhere along the evening, I’d pack him in that trunk with some movies, an extra fifth, and a hefty bag and cruise the county.

Estonia, I think - and the price isn’t $/gal—

Interesting - I’d love to drive it, but that’s not a car that I’d let any rando drive.

Should perhaps have mentioned yeah, this is in Estonia. It’s euros and liters. I actually suspect this is even from another country or time, since right now it’s about €1,18 per liter so about ~$4,50 per gallon.

Wait, what? A hefty bag?

I believe he’s Finnish and was probably already quite inebriated when he thought of this revolutionary idea.

Thinking ahead. Drinking and car sickness don’t mix. And I don’t want the smell keeping me from picking up girls in this chick magnet.

Aha - I figured it was either Finland or Estonia.

And yeah, that’s definitely not a plan he cooked up while sober—

Just paid $2.04 a gallon. God bless Texas! “R.O.T, R.O.T, R.O.T”!

OK, you had me worried there for a minute. I’ve practically had nightmares about crazy serial killers the last few days anyways, thanks to that walk I took the other day (I posted pics, I don’t think anyone figured out/cared what that last picture was).

Did not expect an old Caddy to be in Estonia.

Not too many sober Finns in Estonia usually, hehe

There quite a few land barges here that I’ve seen in various states of decay and/or restoration. Also seeing more and more imported US cars, mostly muscle etc. Saw a F150 Raptor the other day... completely out of place in European city streets.

Raptors stand out on American streets lol seeing one in Europe would be hilarious.

Now that you mention it, this is a very X-Files-ish looking car. Could fit a whole family in there along with the shovels. Hmmm...

I didn’t catch the significance of the pic. Must be a scary house of some sort.

I had an Oldsmobile a few years newer than this Caddy - it was amazing what you could fit in the trunk, and that was a smaller car than this one.

It’s not technically the house - - but the location. A lot of evil happened there, although it’s been nearly 40 years now. I have vivid memories of it, because right at Christmas 1978 (even Christmas Day as I recall), it was all over the news, and they were bringing bodies out of the crawlspace.

It’s the site where Pogo the Clown  lived. I can’t fathom anyone being OK with living there, personally.

Gotta love the how other people love massive American vehicles even more than we do. I remember when land barges were cheap. I honestly believe that their rise in price is due to their value for foreign export.

Very.

It’s less than a mile from my office, and I like to get out and walk at lunch when the weather is nice. I usually avoid that direction, but once in a great while, I go that way anyways.

I’m guessing that, if you threw out just the address to a Chicago native my age or older, with no other explanation, most would be able to tell you what happened there - it’s that infamous - and they actually changed the number when they built the new house there.

- old American car

- drinking

- in Estonia

Yup, all checks out. Seems legit.

You should be. Clowns are a menace. My daughter is terrified of clowns. Smart girl.

She is a smart girl. Clowns do kinda creep me out - and Pogo is probably at least part of the reason why.
