Has anyone used one of these? I’ve been thinking about removing the muffler from my truck (sounds pretty damn good to me for the price), and will want to disable the AFM (switch from 8cyl to 4cyl mode) if it drones on the highway. Range AFM deletes are somewhere around $200, and I can get the inTune i2 for $270. Is it worth the $70 extra? Probably, but just wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone has used one of these. Thanks!

Have one on my 11 Silverado and love it. I am using the canned 87 tune and DOD off. I actually get about 2 mpg better with this than I did on the OEM tune. Its super easy to use, just be patient with it as it doesn’t operate at blinding speeds. Screens take a while to load and such. I highly recommend.

I’m also running the canned 87 tune on my 2001 6.0 Suburban. It’s meh. I like it because I can make the 4L85E behave more civil-like in daily driving.

I have the older Trinity T1000 for my Magnum RT. Just like Censored said, they’re slow, but they work really well.
Used market is also really good as long as you can find an unmarried tuner. Once they’re married to the car, you have to connect it to that car to unmarry it.

ive only ever gotten dyno tunes. so id say do that. $400ish dollars or so depending on the shop

I’ve tried to find a used one, but my truck is a 2016 so it requires the new inTune i2 i2030, which is harder to find already used. I found a store on eBay that sells refurbed units for $270. Might take the plunge. Thanks for the input!
