Kinja'd!!!

Ask and ye shall receive or something, anyways. I settled on a name, Germaine. The first week I had her she wasn’t eating i was using thawed mice and she doesn’t seem to care for them. So I switched to live ones and that seemed to do the trick.

Kinja'd!!!

She even shed, which is a good sign. She’s started to put on girth which is nice and she seems to he adapting to her new home nicely. So uh thanks for reading. You get a pic of Sisika for making it this far.

Pits and their mixes are awesome doge.

My sister has a pit/beagle mix named Bacon Bits. When he was a pup, he had the slender beagle body and the big pit bull head. He was a bobblehead of a dog.

I haven’t met many sneks that will eat the frozen variety, the ones that do seem to be well established in their home. Maybe try again once you’ve had her for a year or so.

Same here. Had a snake in college and didn’t try frozen until after a few months, but she got used to them eventually. Makes life easier with less trips to the store, but make sure they’re completely thawed out and warmed up with hot water. Very cool animals.

In college me and a friend bought a Hog Island Boa, named him Lt. Dan, cause he ain’t got no legs.

What an adorable noodle! I have been considering getting a ball python for a while...considering that I am typically out of the house 12-14 hours a day, they seem to be the perfect low maintenance pet. How long have you had her? Any caveats you care to impart?

I’ve had her for a little over a month now, they’re known to be picky eaters and they’re kinda sensitive to temperature around 80 is what I heard was good for temperature and somewhere near 60% humidity. Certain morphs can get pricey but I’ve seen normals for as low as 20 bucks. if you’ve got your heart set on a specific morph morph market is where I’d look first. Beware, some morphs do come with health issues like the notorious Spider head wobble or the Super Cinnamon’s “duckbill”. Before I forget Kingsnake.com has classified ads by state worth a look at. I can answer any other questions you have.
