I don’t have carfax but ran the last 7 digits in Bimmer.work. With 170k the vanos probably aren’t functioning properly do to seals wearing out. So if you check it out listen for that. Not catastrophic, but you do lose power.

Yeah it’s not going to happen, still looking and driving the terrible rental. I am only seriously looking at Japanese sedans,wagons, etc. If I can find a tsx in my price range is will be happy.
