Aftermarket wheels and a radar detector. What are the odds it has a tune?

Lol everything but a tune...for now. It’s got Dinan suspension and a Burger intake as well.

Having driven 235s and M2s before I kind of braced myself to be a bit disappointed with this car, but I have to say I’m totally happy with it. I got it from Andrew Maness who was responsible for all the upgrades, and damn did he do good. Most important is the Pilot Sport tires, holy hell do they grip.

It was cheap and just needed something friendly for my gf to re-acclimate to driving with. Now she’s gotta get her own car since she doesn’t drive stick and has no interest in learning...for now.

Nice! You had a 235? Was it manual?

Just saw the mirrors and got the cue, we had a manual 228i MSport. Great car, sold it to a fellow enthusiast with a tuned 135i, Elise and Boxster Spec track car.

I’m honestly thinking a 228 with some bits would be a better car. If only for the fact that it would use less gas. I know I’m coming from an i3 so the shock is extra hard but FUCK does this thing drink fuel. I have to basically hypermile it to get 25 mpg.

ECO mode is a joke, that’s for sure. Adds about 11-20 miles tops on a road trip tank and next to nothing for city.
Great all around car, do not expect better than 30-34 MPG ever.

Yeah, ECO doesn’t do anything in city driving but on the highway it seems like it keeps to boost from building at lower RPMs and lets me eek out 25mph if I really try.
