Check this out. Would you believe me if I told you that the vertical lines are not curved and that the horizontal lines are parallel? This is a great variation on an old optical illusion.

If you squint your eyes really hard until you start to lose detail, the lines straighten out.

I know they’re not because I drew the red lines. But yeah, it’s pretty amazing. This is one of my all-time favorites. Believe it or not, squares A and B are exactly the same brightness.
