Even beyond his hits he was a fantastic musician. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when he played with Leon Russell as part of the Wrecking Crew studio musicians. Leon with his long hair and Campbell with his arrow straight part.

I was in the same second grade class as his daughter. I remember because we had the same bday and our teacher was stoked because of who her dad was.
