It has the same bolt pattern because the C30, S40, V50, C70, 1st gen Mazda 3 & 5, and 2nd gen Euro Focus (among others) all share the same platform .

It’s the luxury Focus wagon we never got. Hooray for the remnants of the old Ford/Volvo/Mazda cross-pollination!

You think the fit would be ok though? The stock Volvo wheels are 17" the stock snowflakes are 18x8

We had a 2007 2.4i for a few years. It was one of the most reliable vehicles we ever had. (Only things that went wrong was a tie rod and a pin in the door handle that prevented the door being opened from the outside.)

It’s not exactly an exciting drive, but it’s peppy enough to have fun, and it definitely feels solid.

It is high on my list to own again if I can find a manual T5. (Or swap in a V8 manual RWD drivetrain.)

Yup, NA I5. It makes a decent growly sound under hard acceleration, even though the muffler is pretty quiet. (Look up a “de-unicorned” muffler to get some more sound without being too loud.)

The Turbo V50s were the T5 versions.

The 2.4i is still a solid and stable little wagon though.

the boost is very fun in the 2.5 (T5) but regular 2.4 is ok, perfect for DD things.

safer, Swedish-er and more wagon-er than its cousins (Mazda 3, Euro Ford Focus) both in active and passive. I approve.

We actually got our V50 for kid carry reasons too. If you’re tall, you might be a bit cramped with the car carrier behind you, but it can hold a large jogging stroller easily in the back.

Smallish dogs probably won’t be a problem in the back, but we never had the opportunity to try. For both the dogs and the seat, I’d suggest that you check it out in person. Preferably try latching the seat in and see how much room you actually have. I’m 6'2" and I thought it was pretty cozy (but livable) with the infant carrier seat behind me.

Here’s my personal S40, points to who can name the car the wheels are from. The Focus and V50/S40/C30 are very related.

I’m going to say the rally sport wheels from a mk2 ST or mk3 RS, but the glare kind of hides them,.

When I pull up the V50 on Tire Rack it lists a bunch of 18x8 wheels with offsets from +42 to +48. It recommends a 225/40-18 tire with them.

According to this the Focus ST snowflakes are 18x8 +55. With the higher offset compared to what Tire Rack is offering, the ST snowflakes will be 7 mm closer to the strut and that same 7 mm further from the fender lip. The stock Focus ST tire size is 235/40-18, which is only a little bit wider and taller than the 225/40-18 recommended by Tire Rack.

As to whether they’ll fit, well, I found this thread with this pic:

The previous generation Focus RS had a hopped up version of the Volvo I5 from the C30/S40/V50/C70 T5. So...
