I saw a very similar one at my Walmart today too! Had the full top. I was a little disappointed to see that the winch on it was a Harbor Freight special. That was still way better than the Audi S5 parked next to it covered in fake vents from Pep Boys.

Judging by what I’ve seen with the Jeep group the HF one isn’t too terrible. It’s better than the cheaper name brand ones but not as good as name brand with similar weight ratings.

Fair enough. We had two at work that burned up pretty quickly, so I don’t have the best opinion of them. But we also weren’t exactly using them within spec either. The Warn we finally beat our manager into buying has been working like a champ... it cost 5X as much, though.

Most that I’ve seen run the 12k pound one are using them on 2 ton max Jeeps. So it should be good even in mud. It’s definitely one of those cases that if you can afford better go better.

Makes sense. They’re probably fine. I don’t know for sure, but based one looks and size, the one on this Bronco sure didn’t look like a 12k winch.

I’ve noticed a lot that build them to look like this are posers. They could at least go period correct if they are going to do that
