Then you find yourself in about to blast through a tunnel, with the windows down, in second with a V8 that you’re about to take to its 8300 RPM redline. Then things just seem to get a little better.

Sadly I don’t have audio equipment capable of doing it justice. I tired to record on my phone, but you could really only hear wind noise.

Yeah, that’s tricky. Smart phones are great for photos and videos when you’re in a pinch or traveling really light but when you start to need slightly more obscure images or videos they don’t work.
I lucked out when I bought my camera from B&H they threw in a free Rode mic. How they made any money on that sale was beyond me but I was a happy camper.

Well I wanted to go look at a new Civic Si. Don’t ask me why, I woke up today and was like I should go look at a Honda. The salesman there wasn’t very good, and I had seen the Subaru dealer getting off the highway and I was like, I know, I should go test drive an STi. So I did. While I do kinda want something different, I don’t think that would be a real candidate to replace the 3. I actually really really like the 3. I’m just always car shopping.

Fair enough. I’m pretty sure we’re all always car shopping. There have been so many times I look at the STi or Focus RS and wonder if they’d be a good BRZ replacement.

I hit redline in 2nd today. Felt good man. Felt really good.
The island I live on is all 25 mph and strictly enforced so I’m sure motorcycle cops all over the island cocked their heads while pushing for their visors up trying to pinpoint the sound.
