My mom has an RX. I have never driven a car that more actively tries to put you to sleep while driving. The back seats are nice though since they have adjustable back rests. And Lexus has the service end of things figured out pretty well. Additionally, I love your Sportcross.

It honestly sounds like the starter isn’t cranking the engine. Could be that your claws wiggled it loose while doing the alternator. It’s not like a stronk 3A to lose compression after five days of sitting.
If the starter is the problem, I’ll still consider buying it. But if the problem is far worse, FORGET IT.

My last mechanic ripped me off and then later was found embezzling money. I don’t care for dealers, but this one is well-regarded and this is the only service I’ll need for the next 90,000 miles.
Also, I bought this car with *zero* service records. Should I ever sell it, I want the potential buyer to think, “Oh this guy took care of this car, he didn’t take it to Bucky’s Shop-and-Eats on Everett Avenue for major services.”

Yeah, makes sense, the Audi dealer I bought the Passat from had lost the service booklet. They were kind enough to order another (blank) one from VW.
Decided I’d do basic maintenance on a VW dealer for the same reason, to show the next buyer the car was well cared for with the service papers (I keep them all on a folder, I have a folder for each car). Until I discovered brake pads (only the rear) were 310 bucks at the Dealer.
Took it to my german mechanic (as in german person who takes care of german cars) who charged me 150 bucks for the backs and changed a few bulbs for free.
