I like taking risks. After five winters my car (on the left) only has two small rust spots, one around the left tail light about 2 mm long, and one on the rain gutter where the roof rack attaches to the car-just a paint bubble. I think keeping it clean and waxed has helped prevent the rust from coming on strong.

here in quebec none of them are that clean. they are all closer to the rusted out one. the last gen 3 seems ok..

My car has more sun damage than anything. The dash under the windshield is all cracked to shit and the trim pieces along the side windows are crumbling. I’m going to tough up the rust spots before winter and do some spot coating on the suspension.

Finally have a job interview lined up so hopefully that will go well next week. Hoping to be on the move next month or after that. I plan to take a Northern Route so late September would be ideal so that I get the leaves and not get snowed on while camping my way across.
