Kinja'd!!!

Yes, that’s an OEM brown on brown vinyl roof ‘71-73 Mustang Grandé just out commuting with new Civics and stuff. (Per K-Roll, this one is a 1973.)

the grainy look makes it seem like an old photo.
Time travelling Civic confirmed?

Well, I mean the 10th gen Civic does look kind of like a science experiment .

I like it, the Type-R could have a little less fake vent area though

Not usually a fan of same color vinyl tops but on this it doesnt look bad. Also with how many new Civics are on the road i have no doubt it is commuting with some but thats an Accord

The vertically oriented turn signals/running lights makes it a ‘73.

I’ve gone on record saying I love this Civic and it looks better than anything in the class. But the hatch in general has too much fake vent going on. I thought a lot of the black plastic would be opened up on the Type R, but sadly not. Doesn’t make sense unless they’re planning a spec racing series so the bumpers are sorta pre-cut to knock out those panels.

Yep, it’s a facelifted Accord.

I see this and wonder if they’re ever gonna make a Luxury variant/trim for Mustangs again.

Mustangs definitely have power & performance covered, but what about an aspirational Aston Martin variant? If people pay 70-80k for a luxo truck, why not this?

I think these days it’s more of optioning up the GT -you can get some pretty nice gadgets and goodies when you check all the boxes. Skip the performance pack but check the other boxes and you basically have a $43k lux cruiser. But I see what you mean - there is room there for a “platinum” trim with quilted leather seats and wood instead of aluminum on the dash for $50k-ish.

Hmmmm....

Didn’t a movie once start with this similar same, unassuming / tranquil setting?
