But seriously I had some games on 5-1/4" floppies for my Tandy 1000 ex and my buddy had some games on cassettes . I might not be a good baseline for this kind of thing haha.

They started to lose the density wars for anything but long term archiving to spinning disks, but yeah, IBM is still at work.
