Who's going to the 6 Hours of COTA?

I just bought my event and airline tickets. With the news of Porsche pulling out of WEC, this is my last chance to see these magnificent LMP1 beasts competing here in America so I figured I’d better follow through.

Will there be a contingent of Oppos there?

Hmm, COTA or Rolex, that will be the choice I have to make. I’d love to do both but I’ll be limited to one.

There will always be 2019 for Daytona! You won’t be able to see these LMP1 cars duke it out ever again now that the class is imploding.

Very true. I have a Southwest refund ticket I have to use by December, too. So my flight is paid for, just need a room and race tickets. Did you do the $79 2-day pass?

Spousal happiness. Although I might be able to talk my wife into going to one of the events, thus leaving guys weekend for one of the other races. Austin would probably be the easier sell to her.

No, I’ll just be there for the 6-hour race itself on Saturday. Flying in on Friday, but spending some time with friends in the area. Grand total of $65 for a Saturday pass.

She might after going to one, but doubtful. We also have school schedule/kid sports schedules to work around. She is supportive of my car likes as a hobby, however she does not share the interest or even comprehend it.
