Ford made the wrong decision in not selling it in Stealth Grey here in the US.
Also, with regards to the Focus ST, I still prefer the Cooper S Hardtop 4 door all day every day. They’re even in terms of performance. Gib Cooper S pls.

Seriously, I’ve dailied one for 3 years and it is still just as fun as the day I got it.

The Focus ST is a strong candidate for an eventual E46 wagon replacement. It’s probably a better car around town with almost as much space, without the, “ooh you drive a
bmw
” image but also without the “ooh, you drive an
OLD
bmw” maintenance. I hope these hold up well so I can buy one in 5-7 years. If I’m extremely lucky, even an RS. My wife would probably never let me drive it, though, she’d want it for her commute. Hmm

Lol. You don’t see many where I am. Ford had a few demonstrators doing the rounds with the police and I believe a few forces bought them.
Many want their Focus estates with more economical engines with the TDCI being the most popular.

Not a 2016+. I’ve only ever used SYNC on a 2015 Ford Fusion at work. It was horrible.

I don’t care too much about the BMW comments. Mostly because a lot of people in the Bay area have BMWs/Mercs/Audi’s. But you make a valid point. I should keep with my saving for an e46 M3!

I guess it just annoys me that I spend less on my car than most people I know, yet they assume the opposite because bmw.
I’d say you should get on the E46 M3 train before too long. They’ve probably already passed bottoming out and are mostly on the upswing in price; I’m sure that’s not true for every example out there, but it’s a trend. There may not ever be a better time to pick one up than in the next couple years.

If I was to go for a Mondeo ST I’d probably go for the non ST, ST-Line. The ST-Line is a model with ST aesthetics.
As they stopped with the actual ST and ST220 back in 2007.
There is of course a car between the two which is the 2012 Mondeo Titanium X Sport estate 2.2TDCi 197bhp.
