Took a bunch of terrible iPhone photos (Now that my DSLR is broken). Despite the utter awfulness, I’m sure someone here will like them...

Quietly being ignored, in the same shed as the Napier Railton, I give you the 1963 Lola GT Mk 6

Someone send this little fella a can of Rust-eze.

Seriously, that little car would be perfect for the Cars franchise.

What’s the little blue Honda Beat looking guy in the 5th picture, behind the Mini?

I’m sorry to say, that’s a modern MG. I don’t know anything about them, apart from Rover Group used to make them, then MG was bought by Nanjing and renamed MG Motor. I think the red one is an MGF and the blue one’s an MG TF. Others will be far more knowledgeable - particularly the MG Owners Club in the picture.

Gross, it’s even worse now- I checked out the wikipedia page and now they’re owned by SAIC, a Chinese government-owned company. That’d be like if a Chinese company bought Plymouth, made them in China, then tried to sell them back in the U.S.

That pale blue Austin Mini... was it twin-engined or something? It seems to have two gear levers (unless one of them is some sort of extra? hydraulic handbrake).

Or maybe it has a motorbike engine/gearbox (at the rear, like a Z conversion?) and the second lever is used to engage a separate set of gears for reverse?

No info I’m afraid. The owner wasn’t about and many bonnets/hoods/roofs were closed due to rain. Using the POWER OF THE INTERNET...

http://www.pro-motive.co.uk/

They make kits to put bike engines in Minis - with a reverse gearbox.

That engine certainly did not look like an A-series.

Thanks!
