A four door wrangler, or whatever the model is called. Was in a convoy with a black grand Cherokee. I also thought it was funny that they put a wrap on the Jeep, then put a black bag (pretty sure that’s not the correct term) on the front and back. I guess they don’t want the face lift to be revealed too soon.

I think it only takes about 10-15 minutes for david to “ogle” after seeing a jeep
...if you know what I mean ;)

Did it seem bigger than a current Wrangler?

Yeah, it sorta hard not to see a car in zebra colors. It’s literally like a elephant on the road, lol.

Maybe? Re-looking at the pics, the rear looks longer than how I remember it.

It’s a bit like disguising a new Audi A4, isn’t it?

So, we know the front end will look slightly different, as will the rear. It will also have different door handles. Otherwise it will look like a mild update to the last one, which was a mild update to the one before it.
I’d wager the headlights will be different, perhaps going back to squares?

Perhaps, but it’s like disguising something well known and recognized. Something that rarely gets updated and always roughly looks the same in each new update.

If they are ever adventurous with the update, too many people will get upset, lol.

People are just now starting to accept the square headlamps from the past. I love the thought of ruffling feathers but I bet they do it in a less noticeable way.

The ultimate irony is if they actually had something to disguise it would cause outrage among the “faithful” for abandoning what the Wrangler is “supposed to be.”

Are the Grand Cherokee headlights the new “corporate” theme? I wonder how they would incorporate them into the design.

Reminds me of the shtick occasionally done with Superman / Supergirl and the glasses. “Oh, Clark! There you are! Where did Superman just go?!”

I think the only corporate theme Jeep has to abide by is the amount of slats in the grill. And I hope it stays that way.

Well, obviously. Wait... are you suggesting that Clark and superman are the same person? That’s crazy talk. Everyone knows Clark wears glasses and superman doesn’t; they are completely different people with no similarities besides the face, body type, height, weight, etc.
