I have Saturday off work and I plan on going to a
Cars and Coffee (my first ever)
, and then go look and touch some old cars at a junkyard.
/ I am here in the States for my first time. I will do a write-up with my impressions and experiences when I have time. You guys are so lucky here as far as cars go, you have no idea...

Also, should I use Turo to rent a car or is there some cheaper way? I do have a CA licence but I am 24.

That cars and coffee is literally next to where I work. (Well, there’s a giant expressway between that parking lot and where I work but still).
Turo would be your best bet for fun cars to rent but I’m not sure how insurance works if you’re not from the states? The nice thing about turo here is the caliber of cars for rent is surreal.

Oh cool, do a lot of people go there, is it worth it to come there?
But yeah its crazy what kinds of cars you can get. However I am just looking for any car, I just want the cheapest way to rent. Some of them are 30 bucks for a day on Turo, I just hope they dont charge extra fees.
I have a Bank of America account which covers some car insurance I think. And I have a CA licence...

I’m not sure to be honest. I didn’t even know this cars and coffee existed. I usually go to the Canepa Cars and Coffee. If you’re staying here until next Saturday the 12th I highly recommend that cars and coffee.
Turo is your best bet then. The car rental companies around here are a lot more than $30 a day and all the cars are horrible.
