I saw a ford Transit on the side of the road and I could have sworn it said hybrid. Do those exist? It was a state owned vehicle. Department of Conservation & Recreation or something.

First I pass a guy who was pulled over. I dont know he did, but he had 2 cruisers behind him. He didn’t look like he was having fun.

Next was a Prius on off the side of the highway fucking up traffic. It was pretty light traffic. This person was in the bushes/trees. Just a hippie trying to hug a tree? I dunno, you tell me.

Someone bought a Gulia. No SR20 so you may not believe me, but I saw it. It was blue. No smoke or anything coming from it. Its a good looking car, but at ordinary trim level, it doesn’t look like anything special.

Kinja WTF. every time I paste a pic, it also pastes another prius.

Ford is testing a hybrid Transit in the UK, but it’s not supposed to be introduced until 2019.

My school has a hybrid Transit that they use for mail delivery. It is a 3rd party conversion though.

There’s a fairly popular third-party conversion for front-engine RWD trucks and vans (especially the Transit, it seems), the XL Hybrids kits.

Basically, it gets bolted to the back of the transmission, and a shorter driveshaft is installed.
