that Acura TLX’s don’t hold their value all too well.

A 2016 TLX Tech with SH-AWD for $30,900? These things are near if not over 50k brand new..

Maybe an Acura is in my future again.

2018 is a heavy facelift, right? That can kill resale, especially for a struggling model.

They aren’t that expensive new. V6 AWD with tech package is right around $40k. It’s still a good deal, but I wouldn’t call it tanking resale.

I mean its a Honda Accord and the new Accord has a better interior, it shouldn’t be more than $30k.

But I want the new Accord with a 2.0 and a 6 speed. Assuming those are on par with a TLX with SH-AWD, i will buy an Accord

Um, no. There is no such thing as a $50k TLX. 2018 TLX SH-AWD prices are:

Base - $38,200
Tech - $41,900
A-Spec - $44,800
Advance - $45,750

Which means that your tech package example only lost 26% of its value over 2 years.

I was (seriously) looking at the CPO RLX and they can be had crazy cheap 2-3 yr used. Think $25k for a 3 yr old RLX. I am not surprised at the TLX.
