I want to say that the first yellow car was sold as a Monza here in US America ... but I might be wrong.

There was a Chevrolet Monza which was sold in the US and looked very similar - but they had nothing in common. That one’s a Vauxhall Cavalier hatch, it was also called an Opel Ascona.

Yeah - beltline, B pillar, door handles, rear angle so similar.

Here we go.

Kinja'd!!!

Similar shape but everything is different. All they really share is the thick B pillar.

By the power of deduction the little red roadster is an MG Midget and number 4 is probably a Ford Cortina of some sort.

That’s all!? OK, the Granada must be a Taunus then.

Yellow Cavalier Svend not Chevette. Back in the early 80's my dad had an orange Cavalier (saloon not coupe like that one) and my mum had a yellow Chevette, we were sooooo early 80's!

Nearly. It’s a MkIV Cortina, but it was sold as a Taunus on the continent. Both names were replaced by the Sierra.
