The stance I take on “some” BMW models:
They can look too out place when stripped of their armor for racing. They are left with small pieces that are left screaming “Im supposed to have my downforce system on and who the hell took my racing wheels off??”

Believe me, I’m very much against obnoxiously painted calipers, especially when they’re crappy sliding calipers painted red or something stupid. I also think ceramic brake options on most street cars, even fancy ones, have extremely high replacement costs.
But, these are factory, and the gold color is relatively subtle, so they don’t bug me.

I get it. I could probably get over them or have them painted black in the future. This to me is one of the worst offenders.
Oddly, I don’t dislike bright green painted ones.
