That’s right, I’ve had the M3 for a total of 3 years now. It really does feel like yesterday when I was waiting for it to show up at my apartment complex.
This is what I wrote last year:

I’ve had my E46 for 4 years, and I’m about ready to trade it for something else. I love it dearly, but it’s getting old. That, and I’m too lazy to replace the rear prop shafts.

I had to take my axle shaft out to do a wheel bearing on my e30. It’s not bad. I’m guessing the e46 is probably similar.

They’re not too hard to replace, as long as you have a massive breaker bar for the centre nut.

Also bought my first M3 sight unseen. Will have owned it 11 years in February.

Berf. The AWD takes away from the 6MT, but they are less than a base Fiesta ST right now.

There’s simply no better used car value than the E9x M3. That car holds a special place in my heart and always will. The S65 makes some beautiful noises.
