you’ve got good taste! I park like that or worse. I’d rather take a little heat for using an inch or two of a pedestrian walkway then get door dinged.

Flash Green V70 R!
I have an 02 XC I picked up for $800 and doing some much needed service work. LOOOVE the car, but a V70 R is still my #1 want.

That’s cheap! Have you already spent your purchase price in parts? LOL I spent $500ish in fluids and a full PCV service when I got the car.
Got a VIDA/DICE yet?

Got the vida/dice, I repaired gauge cluster, new motor mounts all around, “new” tail lights, then had the dealer do the timing belt and water pump because eff that noise.

Nice. VIDA is an absolute life/wallet saver for these cars. If the AWD isn’t super important to you, I’d recommend against changing the Haldex filter. Maybe just do the fluid, but it’s stupid expensive at $35/quart. The filter is about $30 but it’s a complete nightmare to change. It took me as long to change that filter as it did to change the rear diff, angle gear, bleed 4 Brembos, and swap plugs.

We don’t normally get a lot of snow, but I did verify that the AWD does work. I work at a speed shop, so we have access to some things for stupid cheap.
