Truck prices are crazy right now. I’m currently truck shopping and am seriously leaning towards a Suburban or Excursion because they are like half to 2/3 the price of a pickup with the same engine/options/miles. It’s nuts.

MPGs wouldn’t be that far off from a Raptor. Of course an Excursion is nowhere near as fun or as Cool as a Raptor.

I really want a Raptor, but I’m not a truck guy. It just checks all the boxes for me. All the boxes of indecision, that is — I need a truck. No, an SUV. No, a sporty car. Luxurious, but not luxury. Quick. I want a V8! Something easy to work on. No pretentious badges. Argh!

Doo eet!
Fold rear seats flat, remove carpet, apply rubberized truck liner.
Also, get a removable mesh cage to divide the front row from the rear when you are hauling stuff.

No, but I’ve never understood why trucks are better than SUVs.
All your shit is protected! No need to buy a shit camper and what not.
Just close them panoramic rooves and you’re golden!

I always make fun of those “boats” for their horrible gas mileage. Meanwhile, my RS3 Mustang averages 15mpg and my Jag gets 20. Oh well.

Wow. That adds up to a dollar a mile. You definitely need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out :p

I’ve been passively monitoring prices on the Raptor crewcabs, and its crazy what they’re still going for. Its a very cool truck, but I’d rather get a power wagon for that price.
