So the Focus RS I was supposed to get today for a week got laid low by one of Connecticut’s legendary potholes on its way to my house. (a half mile away, in fact..) Both driver side tires got blown out - I’m shocked the rims didn’t bite it too. Because the local Ford store doesn’t stock the Michelin Super Sports they have to be special ordered from.. I dunno.. the Tire Fairy? Anyway, it’s gonna be a few more days until I get to experience some Focus RS goodness. ::pout::

Supremely shitty luck? I was told when they sent a flatbed to get the Focus there were four other cars that had hit the pothole and blown out tires. The state police was there, so I assume DOT showed up to cold patch the hole.

The road in front of my house had a 3ft leaning tower of broken wheel covers next to a really bad pothole, as well as it’s own grand canyon (1ft wide, 6-8 inches deep, 30-40ft long). I actually saw a corolla get air coming out of the grand canyon. Fortunately, they just repaved it over the last few months.
