Would you spend ¥500000 (~US$4497) w/FOB for this 1972 Nissan Caravan Camper?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Guy who buys cars on consignment for Foreign buyers in Japan (mostly US/Canadian bidders) bought this “by accident” and wants to be rid of it. Odometer can’t be accurately verified, tons of custom 1970's bits and bobs that are maybe a few trips away from going kaput, a bit of body work needed......

His channel has tons of oddball stuff, like this 1999 Toyota Dyna Generator Truck going to Canada:

This 1988 Toyota Crown Estate Supercharged Hearse going to the USA:

Answer? No. 5 large is a bit much to spend on a mystery.

Looks very saveable. I wouldn’t buy it because I’m done with old junk but it still looks like np to me.

Nope. I’ve played with Urvan/Caravan’s before. Rust can never be undersold in these things. On the upside, the engine bay is massive for a van and a V8 could fit in there...let alone a decent V6. Question is why you would want an overpowered 35 year old Japanese death trap with few to none desirable features when there are no many similar cheaper American made options.
