You’d be surprised how many aircraft you can seemingly park on top of each other when ramp space is at a premium. As long as as wings pass under wings it really isn’t a problem. Winglets interfere with that plan sometimes. Just look at some pics of airports after 9/11.

It’s pretty common at FBOs at big airports. At LAX I would see that all the time early early in the morning, and the staff would untangle that mess as people needed their bizjet since they had notified them of their departure time. It looked like chaos but was actually well arranged by departure time.
