For the last 3 years, the Camaro and Chevelle have shared a battery, with us swapping it from one to the other depending on which one we wanted to drive. No longer. I plunked down $105 or so (can’t remember, price is low due to me having a couple of gift cards for O’Reilly) and both can now be started whenever. Also, I took the exhaust tips off. It’s probably placebo, but I think it sounds a little more lopey. Also, I love the way this car sounds with or without, has what I consider the definitive “backyard hot rod” sound.

Oh, and we painted the 7 inch Rallys for the front (the ones on it are 8 inches- they’re too wide.).

Sadly wouldn’t pass tech. I don’t think it has a driveshaft loop, and I know it doesn’t have a return jug for the radiator.

Even a test and tune day? Most cars don’t have those things and I doubt you are going to be going quick enough to be required to have a roll bar.

Not in this one, it’s not road worthy right now. Tires still rub.
The Camaro has a driveshaft loop, but no return jug, and I know it well enough to know that it’d break almost immediately. Plus, it’s still not fixed. Supposed to be a low 12 second car.

Yeah, kinda sucks. One day when I can afford to get them up to par, I’ll do so and run them down the track.
